This is a super insulated home, with R20 rigid insulation under the house and extending four feet beyond the perimeter of the home (six feet at the corners) and R40 rigid foam surrounding the floor and heat storage area. The walls using a stand off wall system incorporate an uninterrupted vapour barrier and 16 inches of fibreglass insulation (R52). Attic insulation (R74). This Superinsulated home uses a Larsen truss stand off wall system to achieve R52 in the walls.
